This position requires in-depth learning about all things self-directed such as the different types of retirement plans, types of investments/assets, IRS rules/regulations, asset management, and more. Responsibilities:

  • Answer client inquiries received through inbound phone calls, live chat, emails, NDTCO’s CRM, and in-person.
  • Assist internal staff with obtaining complete and necessary transactional paperwork
  • Provide feedback for improving processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Basic office equipment knowledge (computer, copier, fax, multi-line phone system)
  • Computer literacy required (MS 365, Adobe, CRM, etc.)
  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of active listening
  • Thorough and detail-oriented with a professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Education: A bachelor's degree and experience in the fields of banking, finance, retirement planning or investing are preferred, but not required

We are seeking a full stack web developer to help build and lead the next generation of investing software within the alternative investment market. You will be working within a dynamic, diverse team focused on providing greater access to alternative assets like crypto, precious metals, private equity and real estate. The Investment Processor will assist our customers with the process of acquiring or selling the investment without providing any investment advice, recommendations or validation regarding the client’s self-elected investment. This processor will review documents involved in the purchase or sale of an asset to verify they are complete, accurate and comply with IRA guidelines. Our Investment Processing Specialists work closely with our customers and internal departments to facilitate the purchase and sale of investments held within the customer’s self-directed retirement account.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review investment documents submitted by customers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with third parties involved in the transaction.
  • Provide comprehensive responses to client inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate politely and professionally with clients and third parties by email, letter, telephone, and in person.
  • Maintain records of all transactions and interactions made with clients in CRM software.
  • Organize compiled investment documents and retain electronic records of investment packets.
  • Enter investment information into the company's CRM software and accounting software to track investments and initiate funding.
  • Calculate investment related fees.
  • Work with other departments within the organization to ensure a high level of client satisfaction is maintained.
  • Cross train with others in the organization.

Because we’re a financial institution, we do require a criminal background check.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ year in financial services
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Minimum skills in MS Office, Adobe, type (40wpm), phone skills, competent business writing skills
  • Preferred 2+ years in financial service
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred knowledge in IRA investing, retirement plan administration, general investing
  • Self-motivated and organized with excellent communications skills
  • A collaborative approach towards projects
  • A general understanding of the Custodian Financial Services marketplace
